Similarity comparison dialog

This dialog is displayed by the command "Tools/Compare/Similarity comparison". It is used to specify the grade and kind of similarity for file comparison.

  1. Data type: Select the data type to be used when comparing the open files
  2. Max. deviation: This value is used to decide whether the data from the two files being compared is to be treated similar or different. Only differences above this value are seen as "different"
  3. Selection only: Just use the current selection for comparison, not the whole file
  4. Big Endian: Tells Tiny Hexer whether to use little or big endian data format for comparison
  5. OK: Start file comparison using these settings
  6. Cancel: Close the dialog without comparing the files
  7. Help: Show this help topic
